President John Dramani Mahama has clarified that his government has continued with almost all projects and policies inherited from the previous administration.
According to President Mahama, the National Cathedral is the major exception.
He explained that the National Cathedral was not a national policy but rather a personal pledge made by former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to God.
President Mahama’s comments come amid discussions over the status of projects initiated under the previous administration.
The President maintained that his government has generally chosen to continue inherited projects and policies where necessary, rather than abandoning them simply because they were introduced by a previous government.
